  • Lynn says:

The concept of “letting go and letting God” is something I’ve worked hard on over the past few years. There is a sense of freedom in transferring my burdens to God. It feels good to let go of things I know I have no control over. It feels good to know I’m not alone and that I don’t have to fix everything by myself. It’s scary, though. It’s hard to transfer burdens because I don’t know what’s going to happen to them. This is where I have to put my full trust in God and believe that he will guide me wherever I need to go. I need to believe that God’s plan for my life is better than my plan for my life. I pray for the strength and presence of mind to get through whatever it is that comes along in my life.

“Because the Holy Spirit is aware of things to come, He can’t be anxious about the future.” All I can say is “AMEN”!!!

  • Debra Davise says:

I’ve had answered prayer before, but this is psalm 107 heart cry answered prayer! As we get ready to take our son in for neurosurgery in this next week, I have been crying out to God for help, and support through this anxious time in my life. And the Lord led me to this and to the most encouragement I’ve had in many years. I can’t tell you what this means to me. Thank you for your faithfulness, being willing to share your gifts with us, and your kind spirit. Thank you for being part of my faith journey, and letting us be a part of yours. Jesus said, ‘who is my mother and sister and brother, those who do the will of my Father in heaven”. This verse means so much to me as I think of how you are ‘family’ to me in Jesus. May the Lord bless and keep you always.

    • Kimberly Taylor says:

All glory to God! I am praying for a successful outcome to his surgery. May the Lord strengthen, help, and uphold you according to His promise.
