Hi Dr. Hancock,

I thank you for stopping by my site! I have heard of your book as well and indeed it looks like we share some of the same ideas. But that's no surprise - given that we both rely on the same source material, aka the bible :)

I really appreciate you for taking time to encourage and to pray for this ministry. I will do the same for you. God wants his people to be free. We have a great work to do and we can't afford to be hindered by anything that would distract from that. God bless you!

Hi Kim,

I, too, am a Christian weight loss book author, and I just now, for the first time, visited your website. I have to say that I love what I see. I haven't yet read your book, but I have seen it around and just never had time to get to it. It appears from this site that you are focused on the emotional and spiritual roots of why people eat food they don't physically need, and I'm glad that you encourage people to exercise. I think our belief systems are similar, in general. Like you, I have also lived this journey, personally. I lost 75 pounds and have kept it off for 26 years. I would love to speak with you over the phone sometime, since it appears that we're kindred spirits. I've spoken with Judy Halliday, as well, and she's clearly a kindred spirit with us. For me and Judy (and I'm sure you, too), this is about the greater good and not about our respective books. I thank God for what you're doing and pray that God blesses all three of our ministries so that we can rescue more and more people from the bondage of overeating.
