Do you want to lose weight and get healthy, but don’t know where to start? This is where you start! Each day for 31 days, you will step your way to healthy weight loss.

Taking small steps toward your goal daily will fill you with energy and confidence. Best of all, it helps you create a healthy routine so that losing weight becomes automatic for you.

Here’s a word of advice as you get started. Be kind to yourself. You didn’t gain the weight overnight and you won’t lose it overnight. Or if you did, you’ll likely gain it back just as fast. I know – I’ve been there! Be patient and willing to work through the process. Take each day as it comes and do the best you can that day.

    I often have a fight with the wrong foods so the words ” The best way to win a fight is to avoid getting into one in the first place ” are so true for me . As soon as I start eating the wrong foods I have already lost the battle as I just keep on eating them .

    I am starting today with step 1 to go along your study newsletter Overcoming Emotional eating God’s Way.

    I literally sat at my computer and prayed I would fine a website that would address weight loss by using the word of God. He gave me you I am so blessed!

    I have needed this so much. Struggling with my weight all my life – just want to be at a healthy place, where SUGAR and such foods do NOT have a hold on me anymore. I am seeking the Lord for victory here. I hate feeling bloated and taking so many supplements.

    Thank you for this encouragement and plan. I need a “hand to hold” during this and I pray that your site will truly help me. Please pray for me as I venture forward. It’s so hard to find others around me who are full-on with “ditching” sugar and emotional eating! Thank you for being here!!

    God led me here. I want to do this right. Like many people, this is not my first time trying to lose weight. But this time is different. I believe that God is in control of this one. I prayed last week for God to teach me how to study His word. I have read the Bible many times, I teach Sunday School, I have been a Christian for a long time, but still I have a lot to learn. After I prayed that prayer, God led me to a desire to lose weight. I had given up on this desire all together because of excessive failure, so this was not my idea. But so far, I have accessed the scriptures in this site and my study has begun. I am looking forward to a new journey with God and maybe some healthy weight loss along the way would be nice too. Thanks Kim for this web site. I know that it will make a huge difference in my walk with God.

    This is my first day and I’m scared of failing-I’ve done it too many times before. I’m taking it one day at a time and trusting God. I did the mirror step and repeated Psalms 139:4 three times while hugging myself and actually felt God’s love come over me. I think I can do this one step at a time and with God’s help. I never really stopped to think about the amount of shame I have about my past failures in weight loss.

    Drank my water, did my stretches, and my mindful eating. I can’t believe my stomach is the size of my fist. I think I’ve been eating 3 fisted meals, no wonder I’m overweight. LOL Mindful eating is really hard for me, I think I’m ADHD, it’s hard for me to stay focused. My mind starts thinking of other things or I’m trying to hurry up and eat for no apparent reason. I just have to laugh at myself. Why do I do this?

    Day 7- No problem with the vitamins, I have been taking vitamins for the last 5 years and it has really made a difference with my health. The mindful eating is a struggle. I made blueberry pancakes for breakfast this morning and by the time I remembered about my mindful eating the pancakes were gone. I need to figure out a way to remind myself to stop and be aware when I’m eating.

    Hi, I’m at my biggest I have ever been. I was never a big person until about 4 years ago. Had several surgies, Bells Palsy, stress, anxiety attack, well let’s just say the devil has been busy and I let him in, I wasn’t listening to my body, nor at the time was I calling upon God for help, this was my doing. So yesterday I put out a request of prayer to 7 friends of mine and was honest with myself about battling depression and my obesity and when I got back from lunch your site was in an email sent to me by one of those 7 friends. I read the comments first, then your day 1 and though it is 1:38 p.m., I did my first step, interesting enough I was talking to my daughter about how easy it is to believe that God loves everyone but hard to receive it for yourself and there the scripture Psalms 139:14, I did it at my desk and said it out loud, no mirror but I remember what I looked like this morning. I just want to say, thank you.
