Testimonials
Clarissa Taylor, Hapeville, GA

All I can say is God Is Good! To those of you who are inquiring about
my weight loss, well, here is my testimony. My sister began
speaking to me in March 2004 about our health and the body that
God has given to us and how we abused it. She had become
friends with a doctor who began sharing his knowledge of the body
and how to maintain it the healthy way through biblical scriptures.

Well, I heard my sister but I wasn’t listening because she was
telling me to cut loose of too many things I loved to eat and drink.
She and the doctor had bumped their heads and I was not about to
let them bump mine.

However, God had a different kind of bumping plan. In early spring
of 2004, I was coming into work and decided of all days, which I
never did, was to walk up the escalator steps at Peachtree Center.
As I began this journey I did not even get halfway before I
became short of breath and wanted to stop so badly, but I feared
those following behind me who were doing it well would be angry
with me if I did. So, I kept going and it was a painful go. Finally, I
reached the top. Suddenly a small voice cheered for me and said,
“Yeah, you made it”. I turned and looked at a woman of about 5 feet
5 inches who was smiling at me. I remember telling her how badly I
wanted to quit. She then stated she had something for my efforts.
As she reached in her purse she pulled out a calendar
pamphlet dedicated to women on health issues.

We chatted a few minutes and I learned she was a biblical
instructor on the body God has given us and was writing her first
book. Well this made me smile as I told her I was a publicist and
was writing my first book as well. We shared telephone numbers
and email addresses and it was a heavenly and divine relationship
from that point on.

Kim directed me to her web site www.takebackyourtemple.com. Not
only was I shocked but I was very impressed when I saw a picture
of her before and after. I was even more impressed when I read her
biography. I became very interested on what God had to say to me
about the body he entrusted me with to allow him to abide in. I was
also afraid of what he would say. So I moved slooowly.

I decided in June 2007 to join a gym and to get into shape. I couldn’t
get motivated so I decided to hire a trainer. After working out with the
trainer for a month, I didn’t see any results in weight loss or in my
motivation. One day I received an email from my cousin stating that
a friend of hers was being certified as a wellness coach and
wanted a couple of people to work with who would like a personal
wellness coach. The wellness coach would help me reach my
weight loss or health goals. I agreed to participate.

In the beginning I had the mindset to start eating right but still could
not motivate myself to work out like I should. I found all kinds of
excuses to not exercise. After a few weeks of working with Kim on a
weekly base, all the talk had sunk in. I still do not know exactly
where the motivation came from but it came. I am eager to exercise
and feel great about my wellness plan everyday. I know the pounds
will continue to drop so I don’t even concentrate on the pounds. I get
confirmation almost daily from friends, co-workers and family
members that I am looking better ever day.

The most shocking thing to me was on Monday when I stepped on
the treadmill, I ran the first 10 minutes @ 4.5 speed. Although it was
only 10 minutes before I went back to walking at 3.2, I was really
proud of myself. I have never attempted to run while working out,
just walking. Therefore, I think I was afraid of running and slowed
down. I have now added running the first 10 minutes to my exercise
routine. Kim has motivated me in more ways than just trying to lose
weight. Our sessions have prepared me on how being healthy is
good for us in business as well as our personal life. I am grateful to
my cousin for passing my name to Kim as a referral and I received
the blessing.

I have truly been blessed through knowing and working with Kim. I
am attaching older photos with a couple of recent photos. Photos
don’t really paint the picture of how I am now being to feel about my
body when I go home and look in the mirror. I am a new person and
welcome all the new changes that will come into my life with the
help of Kim as a personal coach.

Dear Kim,

Thank you for all of your help.  A few months ago, my life was a mess.  I
felt as if there was no end to the tangled web that I wove for myself.  I
was being pulled in all directions and my health was paying the price of
me over extending myself.

With your guidance, goal settings, and life coaching skills, I was able to
take back control of my life.  I literally felt like I pulled one foot out of my
grave and took 100 steps toward my future.  Words can’t express how
thankful I am.  I will continue to practice the skills that you have instilled
in me. I will definitely recommend your services to other people.

Keep up the good work and thank you for reminding me that I am
important too and I deserve to give myself just as much attention as I
give others.

Sincerely,

Sondra
